At Meight I designed the agent evaluation framework for AI agents automating freight manager tasks, and developed freight planning algorithms integrating real-time telematics and EU regulatory compliance.

At Glovo I led the architecture of a discrete event simulator serving 120,000+ couriers across 23 countries, and built optimization pipelines for matching algorithms that reduced average delivery times across the network.

My PhD research focused on algorithms for robots to find and track people in urban environments using POMCP and particle filters — planning under uncertainty with noisy sensor data. The same core challenge appears in logistics optimization, autonomous systems, and mission planning.

Earlier at Vestas (wind energy), I ran statistical error analyses of wind turbines, built KPI dashboards, led a production forecast validation test, and developed an ERP system for fleet maintenance.

Personal Life

Proud husband and father to a 5-year-old daughter. Family time is non-negotiable.

I run — road and trail — to explore new places and occasionally join amateur races for the atmosphere. I also ride motorcycles and enjoy the outdoors.

Food is important: Catalan traditions (fideuà, calçotades, paella) and Dutch classics (snert, stamppot boerenkool, pannenkoeken) cover most occasions.
